EVA GARDNER
Being the daughter of legendary Creation bass player Kim Gardner, some may say that Eva’s musical path was carved out at birth. Her CV includes The Mars Volta, Lyra, Veruca Salt and currently as a touring member of Pink’s band. She says:

‘From the age of about 7 I always knew I wanted to play bass like Dad.  But it wasn't until I was 12 that I actively pursued it. I begged and begged Dad to buy me a Fender bass like his but until he knew I was really serious about it he let me borrow his spare Carvin LB50.  A little while later, after playing in bands and proving that I wasn't just going through a "bass phase," Dad bought me my first bass for Christmas.  He taught me how to set it up and change the strings--my first set of Rotosounds!  He pointed out the picture of his friend John Entwistle on the back of the package. He then told me that those were his favorite strings and had been using them since the 60s. Naturally, I followed in his footsteps and have been using Rotosounds ever since.’
