Music Live 2007-
Duff, Matt and
3 Lucky Winners

Posted November 8 2007

What a weekend - musicians arrived in their thousands for the Music Live 2007 show held at the NEC, Birmingham UK over the weekend 2-4 November. Things really got going on the Rotosound stand Friday afternoon when Matt Tuck of Bullet for my Valentine made a guest appearance and signed posters and chatted to fans. The momentum continued Saturday with the eagerly awaited arrival of Duff McKagan to the stand. To say that Duff drew a crowd would be an understatement. One end of the exhibition hall ground to a halt as hundreds of fans queued for the chance to meet Duff and have a wide range of memorabilia signed plus pose for pictures and have a chat with their idol.

Dave Kushner was scheduled to appear with Duff but unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute. Apologies to all who had hoped to meet Dave.

As well as the guest appearances we also ran a competition in conjunction with PRS guitars to give away 3 of their superb SE range of instruments. Our two lovely PR girls Katie and Laura worked their socks off for the duration, persuading anyone within range to enter the competition.

Duff drew the winners from the hat at the end of Sunday’s show. They are:

Jack Seymour
Max Oakley
Domonique Evans

Congratulations to all three and a big thank you to everyone who took part.

Our thanks also go out to Matt, Duff, Gavin Mortimer at PRS Guitars, The Music Live team, Katie, Laura and last but not least everybody that visited our stand.
